The scene was already lively when they entered the house. More than a dozen people sitting together, and there was a lot of food on the table. Stray Dog's father, Joni, together with Big Dog's father, Monty, who obviously drunken, chatted happily.
"Did the dinner start already?" Declan's mother frowned and said when she saw the scene.
In the morning, they told Declan and his family to come over at five. It was not even five yet, but the feast looked to be underway.
When the people in the house saw Declan's family, they all smiled contemptuously. Joni seemed enthusiastic and greeted them, "Why are you lot so late? Come! Sit down and eat."
