Elina

Crystal was lying on the bed beside Elina, looking at the ceiling. Wondering what was that all about. Elina passed out as soon as her head hit the pillow Crystal occasionally checked the clock hanging on the wall in boredom to see if it's dinner time yet. Elina is still young it's not healthy for her to skip meals. She cursed Jason in her mind for taking her phone away, the only thing that can help her in passing time. She didn't step outside her room in fear of bumping into Jason and she didn't want to leave Elina alone. Crystal shuddered at the thought of Elina waking up and crying because she couldn't find her mother. She doesn't even know anyone here. A knock broke her out of her thoughts. "Yes." She yelled out towards the door. She scoffed when she saw who it was and laid on the bed with her hand on her face. Jason's wolf whimpered at her cold treatment. "Time for dinner." Jason said with a tinge of vulnerability in his voice. Crystal felt something squeezing her heart from inside when she heard his voice. Why am I feeling guilty. She thought frowning. She went to wake Elina up ignoring the nagging feeling. Crystal shook her little body gently whispering sweet things in her ear. Jason took in the scence before him adoring. 'She will be a good mother.' He and his wolf thought at the same time. Crystal picked Elina's half awake half asleep body. "Let me help you." He said gently. Stretching his hand forward. Elina twisted her body and stretched her hand out as well before Crystal got a word out. Jason saw his chance and carried Elina in his arm. "Am I holding her correctly." Jason asked placing his hand on Elina's tiny head. Crystal looked at him to say something but was too mesmerized by his deep blue eyes, she forgot what she was about to say. She cleared her throat before muttering a small 'yes'. Jason chuckled at her trying to play cool after ogling him. Jason lead the way to the dining room. They sat on a chair. Jason seated Elina beside Crystal. "Since we have to live together. Why not get to know each other." Crystal said feeding Elina. Crystal mentally facepalmed herself when she realized what she said. "Sure." Jason said eagerly with a wide smile. "I'll go first. Whats your age." Jason started. "21. You." Crystal asked though she knew his age. She wanted to see if he will be honest. "25. Favorite colour." He asked. "Black. Why am I here." Crystal asked getting to the point directly. Jason tilted his head impressed. "Do you want the truth." He teases, taking a sip from the wine placed in front of him. "Take a guess." Crystal asked sarcastically. "I like you. It was love at first sight I think." Jason said grinning. Crystal widened her eyes in shock and rolled her eyes. Thats by far one of the worst lie I've ever heard in my entire life. "Yeah right." She scoffed. "Will you be my daddy then." A soft voice beside Crystal asked. Elina was munching on the chicken piece on the fork and looked at Jason with big expectant eyes. "No." Crystal yelled before Jason managed to say anything. "I mean you can't ask a stranger to be your dad Elina." She explained after seeing her eyes drop in sadness. "You can." Jason said. Elina and Crystal turned her neck so fast, it was a wonder how they didn't snap their neck. "You can call me dad if you want." Jason said looking at Elina, ignoring Crystal's glare. Elina smiled happily as she got a father. Crystal stayed silent after taking in Elina's facial expression. She glanced at the plate, frowning and saddened she deprived her of a father figure in her life. She hated Kelly even more if it was possible for not telling her anything about Elina's biological father.
