Marjorie and Lacey got Genevieve ready to travel to Trenton. Enzo carried her out to the Audi. Mama Phina, the aunts, Bobby’s crew, and the staff of the Sunset were all there to see her off.
“I feel like a rock star with an entourage.” Taking a kiss from everyone because there would be no kisses for quite a while, Genevieve was finally buckled into the front seat for the trip. Although Enzo offered to have Gray drive and sit up front with Genevieve, Gray insisted that Enzo take the wheel.
“I don’t know how to handle this type of car and the two things that are most precious to me are in it. I don’t want to screw up and lose them.” Gray hugged Enzo and got into the backseat.
