Joshua’s POV:
I walked past Emma’s house, I needed to know she was safe. I spotted her and Harper outside in the garden. I stood there watching her for a while. I smiled when she hosed Harper with water. I missed her and I almost went to her.
I forced myself to walk away, I was walking towards my office when I gestured for one of the omega’s to call, Erica. I sat there for a couple of minutes trying to get the story straight. I wanted Emma with me now, I needed her here, but I still needed to protect her.
Erica walked in with a provocative smile, she swayed her hips to try and entice me, but watching her only made me nauseous. Her smile quickly fell from her face as soon as she saw me.
“You look worried Joshy”
I walked to her and took both her hands in mine, I honestly felt nothing
