The Human in The Wolf's Den

Chapter 14: Only Human

Cassian tried his best to get away but it was futile. David had at least a hundred pounds on him and his grip was like steel. The human currently had Cassian pinned to the flower print wall, one of David's hands held one of Cassian's on each side of Cassian's head.

"Come on you can't possibly love that disgusting beast." David attempted to coax the boy into playing nice but Cassian was fighting tooth and nail not to be taken by him. It was cute. "Why else were you so eager to greet me in the ballroom then?"

"To keep a disgusting human like you from touching my master!" Cassian spat in between hopeless protests. He tried to wiggle away from David but the larger man only reaffirmed his grip by hiking up Cassian's hands above his head and holding them against the wall with just one hand as if to prove to Cassian that his struggle was futile. David gave Cassian a devilish smirk before continuing.

Now with one hand free David made quick work of Cassian's shirt by simply ripping all the buttons off. They each popped of in turn, flying all over the bedroom and hitting the hardwood floor with little tink , tink, noises.

"Nooo!" Cassian gasped. Tears sprang to his eyes as the adrenaline made him review the situation in mere seconds. The shirt master had brought him was ruined, he was about to be taken by force, his master would never want him now. All three realizations made Cassian fight harder.

David seemed to barely notice as he continued removing Cassian's clothes. Once David was  able to remove all of the smaller boys clothes, most of them having been torn in two, he began to undress himself. He hadn't had a nice piece of ass since entering this hell hole and Cassian's was nice. The boys creamy skin, blonde curls and strangely golden eyes drew David to him. He was all too eager when he suddenly heard someone banging on the door. David was frustrated by the intrusion but didn't move to answer it, just continued his work. By the time David realized it wasn't hard knocking but someone busting the firmly locked door down, it was too late.

David was pissed, no one dared enter his room without his permission. The one thing that brat alpha was good for was making people fallow his orders and now he couldn't even do that. He let go of Cassian without bothering to put on any clothes and went to scold the culprit.

But before the human could turn around and yell at whoever was intruding a pissed of Xander was on him. Now his dark grey wolf had completely taken form. He was huge with his back almost touching the ceiling of the bedroom. His eyes were completely black with anger, his coal black fur standing on end making him look even larger. Kill the human, kill the human, he touched our mate. Was his wolf's mantra as they attacked. With his teeth bared at the humans neck he was this close to sinking his teeth into the red heads neck. Xander's breath fanned him but Octavio had one hand on Xanders scruff keeping the alpha a mere inch from his mate's neck just in time.

"Stop him!" Octavio shouted to Cassian, panicked. The boy didn't look like he was doing well for himself. Octavio felt bad about the whole situation but Xander needed to be stopped. He was still dealing with what was going on here himself and it was a miracle he had the mind to hold Xander back and think rationally at the moment.

Cassian who was still crying and shaken from almost being r***d didn't pay attention to anything Octavio was saying. All that was going through his mind was that Xander would never forgive him. He would call Cassian a w***e like all the others did.

While Cassian curled in on himself and cried Octavio and Xander were locked in, both pulling against each other.

"If you kill my mate Xander you doom your pack to war with my own! If I sentence my mate with attempt to commit adultery then you won't be at fault..." Octavio's last words were a sad whisper.

There was no doubt in his mind who was at fault. His mate had clearly forced himself on Xander's. It broke his heart but he hadn't mated David yet so their bond was not inseparable. Octavio was a righteous alpha even if the evidence pointed at his own mate having to be tried.

Finally Xander heard him. Slowly he shifted back to his human form. Xander growled at David one last time while the man cowered on the floor tears staining his face.

Walking over to Cassian Xander knelt beside his mate. Xander wanted to kill David at the sight of his poor mate only covered in tattered clothes with his blond hair no longer neatly styled. "Come on Cassian we are leaving."

Cassian looked up at his master with tearfilled eyes. He didn't move just began to blubber about how sorry he was.

"Shhh.. Cassian, it's ok. I know." Xander did know. Today he finally understood that Cassian would never willingly mate this or any other human. Cassian was loyal to the mate bond. In any other circumstances, this news would give the alpha much joy but anger was still pulsing in his veins, he was finding it extremely difficult to be happy at the moment.

Cassian seemed too hysterical to actually listen to Xander so Xander gave up on talking and simply picked Cassian up. The boy continued to cry and shake in Xanders arms but he seemed slightly more calm.

"My mate and I will be taking our leave now. I hope you do not take offense. I also hope your mate gets punished appropriately. If not, I will be back war or not." Xander was polite as could be. He didn't want Octavio to have any excuse to stop them.

Xander carried his mate through each hall. People stared at the naked alpha holding his crying tattered mate and wondered what was going on. Xander ignored it all only focussed on getting Cassian home and calmed down.
