I do not know how long I have been sitting here looking at the lake, but something about the water calms me which helps me to get my thoughts sorted and arranged. Once the call ended, I continued to walk until I came across this lake, and I instantly felt at ease.
After talking to my father, I feel a bit better as the guilt after learning the truth that I had kept him from his love had been eating me up inside. It was not until after the conversation that I realized that that feeling had been there since Elder Tom had spoken to me, but now the feeling was easing.
