Marcus's eyes widened at the name. Riles, he thought. Wasn't that the family name of The Flame Emperor!!!!????? "And yes, I know what you are thinking," Dave continued, his voice carrying a hint of smugness. "Isn't Riles the family name of the all-knowing, all-powerful Flame Emperor??" He grinned at Marcus's stunned expression, savoring this rare moment of having his friend at a loss for words. "Well, guess what? It is." Marcus remained frozen, his mind racing to process this revelation. "And he is the descendant of The Flame Emperor." The silence stretched between them. Dave took Marcus's speechlessness as encouragement to continue. "The Riles family was soon forgotten after the disappearance of the Flame Emperor, but it wasn't known until Raka made his entry to the Unreal Academy.
