I must admit, I've been in better situations than this. At least I'm in the commander's office, which is precisely where I want to be. There is some irony of being here under pain of burning rather than finding it with Remus.
On the other hand, Remus is heading this way too. As is Bram after he fulfils the first part of his mission. Luckily, Dimitri will be nowhere near. I planned it that way. If one of us dies, we're not that much of a loss. If Dimitri dies, then it could be a big problem for vampires in general. Hence, planning to minimise that risk.
