We travel back to base in silence. I don’t think there’s anything for any of us to say. Everyone’s aware of the things which went wrong. And everyone knows we’ve done the job we meant to.
Well, everyone except Ravi and Lily. The former is sat on the floor, tied up and gagged with a few bruises he didn’t have before. He’s eyeing me warily, as if he expects me to jump him and finish off what I started. Part of me is tempted. But only because he’s a d**k. My blood l**t seems to have calmed with the time and nearly dying.
