CHAPTER 3

I was staring at the guy secretively when he got out, I didn't realize Malia was already infront of me because I was busy staring at the guy from nowhere .

"Mmh, he really is something don't you agree"

I got startled by my best friend .

"huh, who are you talking about I don't see anyone"

I tried to divert her attention but im sure she wasn't gonna drop the subject.

"oh please Skye , stop pretending that won't work on me, I know you, you already like the guy admit it"

She said this while dragging her chair to create space for her to sit comfortable.

"first of all , I don't like the guy but you are right , he really is something, I would smash him"

we both laughed at my joke

"Its so sad you won't be around to charm him"

I frowned at the mere thought of leaving my town, but mum is right I should think of the positive side .

"I'll probably find an attractive lad in Nairobi"

She looked at me for a while before giving me a sympathetic smile and a hug

I didn't realize I needed it until she hugged me , I'll really miss my bestfriend , she knows what to always say to sooth me

"Well let's order something to eat because I'm really starving"

Typical Malia she's always hungry

"you are always starving 24/7 I'm sure you've eaten at home, tell me I'm lying "

She just shrugged it off

" you know you can't blame me bestie"

I ended up getting fries with some chicken and Malia ordered pizza".

while still waiting for our order to arrive we were just talking random things .

" you know you shouldn't worry too much ,we'll be face timing and you know visit once in a while"

I just stared into space because I didn't even know what to say to her

After some minutes of waiting for our order it was finally here, Malia finished hers and started eating my fries , she really is tiny you wouldn't know she eats a lot .After chit chatting while finishing up our meals I decided to leave it to her to finish .

We got out of the eatery and decided to just walk at the street to take in all the beautiful surrounding and window shopping for a while .

We stood for a while and I just had to sigh because I'll really miss this place,its so beautiful .

I had to bid Malia Goodbye because I told my mum I'll be home early.

" Let's just eat dinner at home, its really getting late".

"okay" she replied looking really happy at the invitation.

We got back home and helped mum with some chores

" Mom I'm home , mmh the house smells really nice" I hoped to the kitchen while Malia is behind me back to back.
