Episode 8

I wasn't sure how long I had been asleep, but waking up to the sound of birds singing as well as bright sunshine was lovely. I didn't realize how long it had been since I slept in a nice, comfy bed, but I missed it. As I stretched, I slightly hissed. I had completely forgotten about how sore I was due to how comfortably I slept. I looked around the room and noticed Rufus wasn't there. Then, I heard the sound of the shower turning off and looked up to see Rufus coming out with nothing except a towel around his hips. Just like in the cave, I couldn't help myself. My eyes roamed from his handsome face to the water dripping down from his shoulders to his abs just to get absorbed by the towel at his waist. I bit my lip as thoughts ran through my head about what I wanted to do with him. Suddenly, his head snapped my way with a look in his eyes that said he wanted me. He stepped towards me in long strides before taking a deep breath and said, "Lucifera, what are you thinking?" I blushed and said, "What do you mean?" He looked at me seriously and said, "If you don't control those thoughts in your head. How am I supposed to keep stopping myself?" I didn't know how to respond, but when I did my voice came out breathier than I thought, "Stop yourself from what?" He grunted slightly before leaning forward and saying, "I want to make you mine, Lucifera. I've liked you for a long time, but have held myself back for your sake. Do me a favor and control your thoughts or I will make you mine. Right here. Right now." Then, he placed his on my shoulder, took a deep breath, and stood up. He held his hand out to me so he could help me up. I accepted it and he said, "Go ahead and get a shower while I get dressed. I will also---" he stopped and shook his head before continuing, "My mother will bring you some proper clothes." I nodded my head before going to the bathroom and taking a bath. Once again, I loved the feeling of being clean. I stepped out of the bathroom and looked at the pair of clothes left there for me. It was a red off-the-shoulder blouse with a black corset around my stomach. The pants were just black and high-waisted. I noticed that there was also a lovely pair of calf-high black boots with tall, thick heels. I loved it and began getting dressed. Once I was finished getting dressed, I took the red ribbon I found and tied my long black hair up into a high ponytail after brushing it. Then, I decided to go find Rufus. I walked for quite a bit until I turned a corner and ran into a really hard chest. I stepped back while holding my nose and said, "Oww, that hurts." Then, I heard an all too familiar chuckle and smiled before looking up. Sure enough, Rufus was standing right in front of me. I smiled before punching him in the shoulder and saying, "You suck! You're always popping up at random times and that chest of yours is killing my poor nose. What are you made of? Steel?!" My rant only made him laugh even harder. After spending a good twenty minutes laughing at me, he said, "Well, my apologies, my lovely lady, and no, I'm not made of steel. You just like running into me while using your nose as your guide." I pouted and stuck my tongue at him, but that only made him chuckle more. I couldn't help but smile at the sound. Suddenly, a loud crash sounded and shook the ground. We both looked at each other before running to a window. There they were! The dragons that kept following us! I looked at Rufus who was looking at me when another loud boom sound knocked us off our feet. I scrambled up onto my knees to look out again, only to find two more dragons had joined them. From this distance, I could only just barely see the color of their bodies. One was a bright blue like the sea and the other was as green as an emerald. However, they weren't attacking the town with the other two, they were attacking them! They managed to push the fight away from the village and into the forest. I turned to Rufus and asked, "Did you see that?! That was awesome!" However, the look on his face wasn't a pleasant one. He growled even before relaxing and saying, "They're not going to kill us. They're just assholes." I looked at him confused, which caused him to sigh and say, "They're my brothers."
