6. Funny Girl I should text Sophie. It’s the first thought that enters my head when my alarm goes off on Saturday morning. I should text her. Until I do, she’ll think I’m still mad at her, and I’m not. Well, not really. It’s always going to piss me off how simple and easy everything always looks to her, but that’s nothing new. Some of the time I even like it. I should text, but what would I say? “Sorry for taking my nonexistent career out on your eardrums last night. Oh, and sorry I can’t come over and put it behind us this morning, because I’ll be at the place you said I shouldn’t go when I blew up at you.” That won’t make anything easier. I’ll get my first real treatment at Corinthian over with, without having to apologize to her for that first as well, and then we’ll talk. Maybe
