Chapter Sixty-four: Wounded Heart
Elon was the one who drove the car and stopped it when he saw his men, who were also Gilbert's men, waiting for him. He smiled when he thought of Phoenix. That man must have been shocked when his betrayal was revealed.
"Where is my daughter?!" He asked when he got out of the car.
"Sir..." One of them started, and they looked at each other. "We searched the whole mansion, but she was nowhere to be found."
Elon's eyes dimmed, and the men cowered in fear. He pointed his gun at them, and they all kneeled in front of him.
"We're sorry, sir! B-But we have something that might help you."
Elon glared at the one who spoke and he flinched. "What could possibly help me? My daughter is gone!"
Another one of his men stood up. "Please follow me, sir."
