"Phoenix, don't let them get to you. No one can defeat you. You're the strongest man I know. We need you. Your daughter needs you," Athena expressed while caressing his hair.
Phoenix looked at her with tears in his eyes. "My daughter...?" He croaked with pain in his voice.
Athena smiled softly and caressed his face. "Yes. Because Mary is your daughter. She's yours by heart. You raised her with love. If that doesn't make you her father, then what are you?"
"She's my daughter," he muttered, staring deep into her eyes. "Now I understand you. How you loved those children like your own. I won't let anyone, not Gilbert or Elon, hurt Mary, you, or the children. Now we'll be a family, and no one can separate us."
