Chapter Sixty-Nine: High Speed
Elon followed the pilot to the helicopter and silently listened to his conversation.
"Yes, of course, I've sent another pilot. He's after the kids." The pilot spoke on the phone.
Elon looked at him when the call ended. "Are you talking about the Montgomery children? Where will they take them?"
The pilot let out a smirk. "Everyone said you're a traitor now, Elon, so I won't tell you anything. Better get up now; there is something wonderful waiting for you at Mr. Montgomery."
Elon clenched his fists at how he treated him but got on the helicopter without a word. A few minutes later, they were in the air, on their way to where Phoenix was.
