Chapter Seventy: Gray Skies
Phoenix waited until he saw a car, and Elon Hart came out of it, followed by two men from his own team.
"Will others come?"
"Yes, sir."
Phoenix nodded and turned to Elon. "Elon, come and let's talk."
Elon swallowed nervously and followed Phoenix.
"Did you tell Gilbert where to find me?"
"I swear I didn't, Phoenix. I just want my daughter back. That's it. I will be your slave if that means I can be with her," Elon said in desperation.
Phoenix stared at him with cold eyes. "We will rescue your daughter, but after that, I want you out of our lives. I will never trust a traitor again. You know that."
