"Enough, Mary!" Athena stopped the child in a louder voice, and Mary sobbed in fear before she stepped back.
Athena crouched to her height and showed her hands to Mary. The little girl hesitated, but she placed her little hand on top of her at the end.
"Let me tell you something. Yes, I am not Liam's mother. He lost his mother when he was a baby. Mary, Liam doesn't have a mommy, and I just don't like seeing him sad.
