Chapter Forty-Seven: Damn Selfish
Jean remained unconscious on the floor, and Emily sobbed helplessly. "Please wake up, Jean!"
"Stand up, boy! Stop behaving like a fag!" Brian screamed at his unmoving son.
Liam, who saw what happened, screamed in fright.
Emily reached out behind Jean's head with a trembling hand, and she paled when she saw blood.
"Oh, God!" Vera exclaimed in shock.
"Jean!" Emily screamed in worry.
For the first time, Brian's body was engulfed in fear, and he took a step back.
Emily whipped her head at her father and glared hatefully at him. "You're a monster! You killed my brother!"
Brian raised his hand to hurt Emily, but Martina stopped him before he could. "Stop it!"
