Chapter Nine: Free Athena
Phoenix is currently reviewing some documents. He took some time off, but he needed to go back urgently. When he checked his phone, he set it to silent, and saw missed calls. The amount of it worried him, and he immediately thought of his girls. He was about to call back when the door opened and a crying Mary entered. Phoenix stood up so fast that his chair almost fell.
Mary was sobbing hard, and Ada, who followed the little girl, was crying as well.
"They took Athena!"
"What are you saying? What happened?" Phoenix demanded in confusion.
"It's mommy, daddy! The policemen took Mommy!" Mary screamed and cried some more.
Phoenix was confused, and that is when Dave entered his office.
"Daddy, please save Mommy! I can't lose her." Mary continued to beg and cr
