Chapter Seventy-one: The Fool: Part II
"Mommy, Daddy!" Mary screamed while Dave carried her.
"Don't cry, child. Your father is a hero and he will be safe. Your mother is a fighter, and she will come back to us. We will go somewhere safe and we'll be fine. Don't cry, Liam and Mary. Trust me, everything is going to be fine."
The kids wiped their tears away, and he guided them to the car. Dave didn't want to leave, but he needed to save the children first and go to Malibu.
Before he started the car, he called one of his men to check on the others. "How are they? Are they fine?"
"Yes, sir. They are safe. They are almost on the helicopter that will take them to Malibu."
Dave breathed a sigh of relief to know that they were all right. At least the three were safe.
