Aria’s POV Something wasn’t right. That man was dangerous, somehow I just knew it. It had been stupid to call him like that, but just like any devil, his charm called out and masked the evil hiding beneath the surface. And it was such a beautiful surface, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned from watching scary movies it’s that you should always, always listen to your intuition - especially when a dazzling, too good to be true man appears in your life from out of nowhere. I leaned my forehead against a tree, wrapping my arms around its massive trunk to catch my breath and tried to get my bearings. I had been running for only a few minutes, but with so many conflicting thoughts running through my mind, I seemed to have gotten turned around and lost in the park I thought I knew so well.
