Seth’s POV It was a little after midnight and still, nothing. I was settled on a low hanging branch of a barren tree overlooking the bog. It boiled, creating bubbles that released a hot steaming stench when they eventually popped. It’s no wonder nothing green grew in this place. We had only been here for a few hours and already it was more than enough for a lifetime.
