the dark

"where have you been? I've been trying to reach you" Ace's voice came over the earbuds connected to my wires. I had finally found the need to turn it back on. I turned it off earlier to shut off Ace's continuous talking. "please tell me there is one person still alive" I smirked as I looked around . few hours ago, this was a conference room. except there was never any conference. the whole conference meeting sham was to gather every single one of them oldies into this "more like" death zone. my boots clicked as I stepped on gummy brain matter. I groaned frustratedly at the mess. all this oldies really need to learn to keep their body parts inside their body. I took out a little journal and opened it up. it contained names. 52 in total . I went over the names and confirmed each one with the bodies. there were 52 bodies in total or rather 53, as one of the oldies saw this as a perfect chance to introduce his son and heir to the circle. he was not part of the plan but what could I do. now he had no heir to inherit his dirty business. this were all members of a dangerous cartel in Venice. my job was to eliminate them all. so, I sent out the invitations inviting them to this fake conference. they all came in anticipation. once inside, the confusion began as none of them had called the meeting. I disconnected the city's power entirely or rather Ace did. I loved to work in the dark. the moment they realized that they had been lured into a kill Zone, they immediately put up defenses and were ready to fight back. I scoffed as I stared at them from my dark corners. I put on my night vision goggles and got to work. one after the other I slayed them . when they noticed that their defense was of no use and they could not save themselves, they began to beg but again, who cares. this was actually the part I loved the most, the begging part. the uninvited heir was the last to go. he had already pissed and sh*t himself. disgusting. I just put a bullet inbetween his eyes as I was not interested in dirtying my blade. it was a new blade. made by a blacksmith I met in Paris. we spent the night together and I convinced him to make me a double edged sword in artistic designs without questions. after a night of pleasure like that, he wouldn't dare say no. speaking of my amazing blade, I took it out and admired under the night sky. it never lost its glint, not even in the darkness. I found myself jealous of it on the spot. I wished I was a little bit like that sword but I was not. I was a lot darker. after removing their finger prints , scraping their tooth and pulling off their tongues and eyes and not forgetting to disfigure their faces beyond computer recognition, I set the building ablaze and jumped into the water. I swam offshore through underwater buildings, one of the beauties of Venice, until I got to my speed boat. I found my way in, took of my gear and sped off into the sea. when I had gotten to a reasonable distance, I gave Ace the sign and he turned the power back on. you must be wondering where Ace was. well he was no where close to Venice. infact he was chilling at a beach at Nigeria at that particular moment. he's a genius. he could even control the weather if possible. and all he needed was a computer. he had shut off the power simply by logging into any form of device connected to the power grid. yeah , like I said, genius. I stepped into the shower and let the cold water run through my body . I was enjoying the feel of the water on my skin when I received a test on my cellphone. in my line of work, you never ignore a beep because sometimes it could mean life or death for you. the shower could wait. I took my towel and cleaned off just my eyes and hands. I stepped out fully naked and picked up my phone from the bed stand. there was actually two beeps. one was credit alert. 10 million dollars for a job well. done. the other was a photograph with no text attached. just a photograph. that's how our job alert comes. just a photograph, then you find the person, their names , their location and eliminate and shortly after, you get paid. I smirked and sent the photograph to Ace. he replied with a smirking emoji. I put down my phone and headed back to the bathroom. that water was doing things to my body and I didn't want it to stop. I hurriedly ate my breakfast of steaks and well broccoli and some pepper sauce. I shoved it into my mouth one after the other as I had to be on time for my flight. I was heading back to New York. well before you ask , not back to school, at least not yet. I had another job I needed to carry out. I needed to kill my homeroom teacher. before you call me a jerk, let me give you a good reason why. before we left for the holidays, Mister Kelvin had called me to his office to help him arrange some students files. I left innocently to help him. in his office, instead of arranging the files, he choosed to arrange my p***y instead. it turned out that he had seen me at a restaurant a few days ago in a dress which no one in my school knew I could wear. it was steamy but he was old. before I left that day, I told him that I would bring him a gift before school reopened, well here I am.
