"No... I mean, ummm... I'm looking for Clara. Is she here?" Julie tried again.
"No. Your aunt went to the mall with your parents," Shane informed her.
Shane began to dry his hair again, breaking the hold he had on Julie.
"Oh," was all Julie could say.
Apparently, her family decided to go to the mall without her. That was more than a little rude, Julie thought angrily. But when Clara decided to do something, she would do it on her own timetable, not anyone else's.
"Is there anything else I can help you with, sugar? I don't mind if you stick around. But, in about a minute, I'm dropping this towel to get some clothes on. So if you aren't looking for a show, you might wanna head out," Shane warned her.
