She was going to do it. She knew it, and Dax knew it. Anyone in earshot knew she was going to do it. But that didn't mean she couldn't show him exactly what she thought of his orders.
Julie took a few steps to make sure she was out of arm's reach and did the only thing she could think of to do. She stuck her tongue out at him before marching up the steps and sitting in her original spot, looking as sweet and innocent as possible. She caught sight of the other men and quickly realized they were snickering, having obviously witnessed the entire interaction.
