"She should drink some water," Dax's voice drifted to Julie.
"You're right, but she can barely keep her eyes open. Let's just let her rest," Shane replied.
"f**k, Shane. It's been so long since I performed some aftercare," Dax said, sounding frustrated.
"It's been a long time since a sub has perked your interest, brother," Shane pointed out.
Dax made a sound of agreement but didn't comment any further. The bed dipped as Shane climbed into it, spooning Julie. He basked in the feeling of a soft, warm, sated woman in his arms. Shane looked up at his partner and noticed that Dax seemed out of place and hesitant.
"I should go relieve Evan. He's probably gonna need some sleep," Dax said gruffly.
"Why don't you come here and help me hold our sub?" Shane tried.
