  It was Carson.   The look on his face had softened dramatically from the first time she had seen him through her blinds. His expression and distant demeanor made him almost unrecognizable. However, now that he appeared less severe and the aura of danger had subsided, he even raised his hand to greet her.   Julie let out a breath and felt the strain in her shoulders ease as she returned his wave. She moved away from the window and decided to go watch some TV.
