Lily's POV By the time I finally left Dante’s office and made my way back down to my department, every muscle in my shoulders was tight and tired. I told myself that once I stepped onto my floor, my real world, my normal world, I’d be able to breathe again. No Dante, no tense silence, no accidental brushes of his hand that made my pulse trip like an i***t. It would be just me, in my space, working without any pressure.
