Lily's POV I didn’t recognize myself in the mirror that night. The tight red dress hugged every line of my body, something I hadn’t worn in years, maybe ever. The heels felt like borrowed confidence, the kind of boldness I never seemed to own in my normal life. But after everything that had happened with Connor, after the humiliation of that phone call, the breakup text, and Victoria’s smug little laugh echoing in my ears… I needed something. A distraction. A rebellion. A breath of air that wasn’t poisoned by someone else’s betrayal. So I went back to the club. I was going to be wild, experience the thrill of this club, and enjoy it. I was going to let it all out. “I can do that,” I muttered under my breath, locking my car. “Tonight, I’ll feel. Just this once.” Inside, the club was even more overwhelming than it had been the last time. My palms were already sweating. I tried not to look like someone about to jump out of her own skin. A waiter approached me, politely. “Good evening. What kind of service would you like to experience tonight?” he asked. My throat tightened. Service. Right. This was a place where people came for pleasure, not tea and conversation. “I’m… I haven’t decided yet,” I admitted, my voice softer than I wished. “No problem,” he said, still professional. “We offer both male and female providers. It’s based entirely on your preference and comfort.” “I—” I paused. “I was thinking maybe a female provider.” It would feel less like cheating, even though technically I wasn’t in a relationship anymore. My heart just didn’t seem to know it yet. But right as the words left my mouth, the waiter’s earpiece crackled. He touched it and listened, then gave me an apologetic smile. “I’m sorry, miss. All female staff have been fully booked for the night,” he said, and my heart dropped. Of course. Because the universe loved kicking me while I was down. “Oh,” I whispered, disappointment twisting in my stomach. “Right. Okay." “If you’d prefer to return another day—” “No.” The word came out sharper than I meant. I exhaled and forced myself to soften. “No, I… I’m already here.” And I was tired, so unbelievably tired, of always doing the safe thing, the careful thing, the good girl thing. Connor cheated on me. Then he dumped me. Then his first love called just to mock me. I was the only one clinging to morals that no one else valued. “Male provider,” I said quietly. “That’s fine.” “Of course,” the waiter said. “Please follow me.” My heartbeat scattered in my chest as he led me down a hallway lit with warm red lights. Each step felt surreal, as though I were drifting into someone else’s life, a bolder woman, someone who actually believed she deserved to be adored. The waiter guided me to a private room and opened the door. “He will be here in a minute, If you need anything, just press the call button,” he said before leaving. The room was simple but sensual, with dim lights, a soft couch, and music humming low enough to feel but not hear. My fingers twisted together as I sat down, knees bouncing with nerves. “What am I doing?” I whispered to myself. “This is insane. I can still turn back. I can walk out right now and—” I suddenly heard a sound, and the door behind me opened. I froze in shock. Footsteps approached, slow and steady. I inhaled, trying to prepare myself for… I didn’t even know. Some stranger. Some man trained to touch me, to please me, to give me something I didn’t even know how to ask for. But when I lifted my head, my entire body went still. It was him. The man I had crashed into that other night, who has a mind that bears a striking similarity to Connor. “You,” I breathed before I could stop myself. The man I crashed into that night. The man who looked so startlingly like Connor that I had doubted my own eyesight. The man whose eyes stayed with me long after I left the club the first time. Except now he wasn’t a fleeting figure in a hallway. He was standing right in front of me, dressed in black, sleeves pushed up, broad shoulders relaxed but gaze sharply attentive. “You’re…” I swallowed, my voice barely a whisper. “You work here?” His lips lifted slightly, not quite a smile. More like a secret he wasn’t sharing. “Not exactly,” he said. His voice was low, warm, and undeniably confident. “But tonight, I’m here for you specifically,” he said, his eyes making me shiver. For you. Those words made my pulse jump. “But—no, wait,” I stammered. “ I-I thought you were just… someone else. I didn’t think you were—this.” His brows lifted slightly. “Is that a problem?” he threw at me. He was aware of what I was here for. Of course he was. Problem? Oh, it was a problem. A huge, overwhelming, painfully confusing problem. Because he looked like Connor, seeing that familiar face made my chest ache and my anger flare all at once. Because I didn’t know if I wanted to slap him or collapse into someone’s arms and finally, finally forget. But he wasn’t Connor. And he wasn’t pretending to be. He was just standing there, watching me with eyes that didn’t belong to Connor at all—dark, steady, curious, almost gentle beneath the intensity. “I…” I breathed in. “I thought maybe I should choose someone else.” “If that’s what you want,” he said, taking a slow step closer, “I can request a replacement.” The distance between us shrank, and I suddenly became aware of everything. This man was drop-dead gorgeous. “But,” he added quietly, almost too quietly, “you didn’t walk away.” He was right. I didn’t. Even though I could have. I licked my lips nervously. “You look too much like someone I know,” I admitted. “Does that bother you?” he asked, raising his brows. “It confuses me,” I admitted. “A lot.” His gaze softened for a fraction of a second. “If it helps… I’m not whoever it is.” I let out a shaky laugh. “Yeah, I figured,” I said He stepped closer again. Close enough that my breath hitched, close enough that I could feel the warmth of his body even without touching him. "What's your name, hun?" he asked, and I raised my brows in surprise. "Lily, my name is Lily." I knew I didn't have to, but for some reason, I felt compelled to tell him. "Lily, lovely name," he said, taking my hand softly. "My name is Dante. Nice to meet you," he gave a slight smirk that made my heart jump. "Dante," I whispered his name. He suddenly pulled me by the waist, taking me by surprise. "W.. what?" I stammered. "How about we stop talking and do something fun already?" he said in a low, seductive voice. “W. What are you doing?” I bit my lower lip as his fingers moved lower and lower. I clenched my thighs as I felt him touch me through my panties, my lips slowly parted. What was happening? Why was I letting this stranger touch me so intimately? And for some reason, I didn't feel repulsed by his touch; instead, it turned me on. “Part your leg, sweetheart,” He whispered in my ear. It sounded so erotic; those words were enough to turn me on. I unconsciously parted my thighs enough to free his hand that was trapped between them. Dante smirked and pushed higher until he cupped my heated entrance. I yelped, pulling my thighs tightly together. I trapped his, and this time Dante didn't bother to tell me; he used his other hand to push my legs apart. “Relax,” was all he said before he nudged my underwear aside and touched my core. “Ahh” I made a small squeak immediately I felt his hand come in contact with my already throbbing core. I was going to close my thighs, but Dante already predicted it. He used his other hand to hold my thigh, keeping it apart. “Don't close them,” it sounded more like a warning, and I could feel my body submitting to him. “Uhh,” I screamed at the sudden intrusion as he slipped a finger into my hot core. “Tight, so f*****g tight,” Dante mumbled as I clenched around his finger. He pulled it out, and I watched with wide eyes as he took the finger to his mouth, slowly sucking on it. “Sweet,” He grinned and pulled me to sit on him, making me straddle him. “Wa…wait-” I felt like it was happening too fast. But Dante yanked me towards him and crashed his lips on mine, making me swallow the rest of my words. I groaned in his mouth; he tasted like mints and alcohol. It was addictive. He moved his lips against mine, and, like an obedient little cat, I responded. His hand slid into my hair, angling my head. I let out a soft moan. Dante kissed me harder, with desire and desperation. He bit my lower lips and I yelped, parting my lips. He thrust his tongue in, tasting all of me. I clenched on his shirt while our lips mated. With one hand in my hair, his other hand snuck lower in between my parted legs as I strangled him. While his tongue was thrusting in my mouth, Dante shifted my underwear to the side and pushed two fingers inside my hot core. “Hmmhhh.” He didn't let any sound out as he covered my lips with his. I moaned in his mouth. “U...ugh.” Dante curled his finger inside, and I let out a moan, shifting my hip as he pressed upon a sensitive spot. “You like that, don't you?” Dante whispered and kissed my neck, while I buried my face in his. I felt so lewd. What was I doing? I couldn't hold myself back from moaning as he pushed his fingers in and out of me. “D...Dante”. My hip rose when he pressed his finger upon the same spot again. “So this is your spot”, he smirked and grabbed my waist, pressing it down. “P… Please," I didn't know what exactly I was begging for, for him to stop or continue as his fingers slid faster, stretching me. “You want me to stop?” Dante teased me, slowing down, and I groaned. “N…no d…don't stop,” He smirked. My face turned red, and I couldn't believe what I was saying. It was like my body had another mind of its own. I unknowingly began grinding on his hand, urging him for more as his fingers moved faster. “N…n…, no Dante!” He bit my lower lip to stop me from crying out. “Let it all out,” I cried, like a command, and came on his hand. He pulled out his fingers to taste me. I was mortified as I watched him sensually lick his wet fingers, making eye contact with me as he did so. “So f*****g sweet,” He groaned before, kissing me softly so that I could taste myself.
