Sliding the key in I twist and shove the heavy glass door opened. I will definitely need to oil this before opening. There’s brown paper taped to all the windows including the door. Excitement bubbles in my stomach, looking around it’s like a present to unwrap.
The updates and minor construction started today and I’m anxious to see the progress. The floor is dirty, covered in sawdust and dirty shoe prints the lights are off and it’s quiet so I think it’s safe to say that they left for the day.
They knocked the ceiling down to open it up a little more and leave some exposed rafters. I’m having them stain them a really dark brown, it’ll go amazing with the gray marble wallpaper I found. It's custom-made and thicker than regular wallpaper, with gray floating vinyl flooring.
