I ignore him and keep walking fast… I just want to run away.
I bump into the chest of some drunk guy, and that gives Jeremy his chance. He quickly reaches me and grabs my arm.
"Butterfly, wait…"
"Don’t call me that." I yank my arm free and turn to face him. "Why did you hide it from me? Give me one good reason, and I swear I’ll forget everything just so we can go back to how we used to be. But give me a good reason, just give me that, Jeremy."
He doesn’t say anything. He just stands there, staring.
