Today, as soon as I came to college, I saw a big balloon. Sorry was written in it and that too me. At first I couldn't understand what all this was about. Kala reminded me of what happened yesterday.

Are Leena and her brother Ronnie really apologizing to me?

" Si ya my darling, it is good that you have come, I was waiting for so long to meet you. Look, I have made such a big arrangement to say sorry to you, did you like it?"

She said, pointing out towards the big balloon. I didn't know what answer I should give her.

" Don't fall for her tricks, she is a very cunning girl."

Kala said softly near my ear. She had just said this when Leena glared at her. I don't know whether he listened to Kala's talk or not but she had a good look.

" You guys saw how I apologized for this, I am not a bad girl at all. You guys must vote for me in the elections that are coming after 3 months."

Now I understood that she was doing all this for her voting. I looked at Kala who was telling me with his eyes that what he said was right. I didn't want to stand there for long because I had to go to my classroom soon where I had to face history again today.

" Excuse me, I have to go to class."

As soon as I said this, Leena caught my hand and stopped me.

" Hey, how come so soon? First tell me whether you have forgiven me or not. Just because I say sorry, how will people know whether you have forgiven me or not?"

I kept looking at his face for some time where the same artificial smile was still intact. I looked at her for a moment at the balloon which still had Sorry written on it and then looked back at Leena and said.

" First of all, answer me that if I had lost in your place, would you have accepted with such a simple apology? If I had lost, how would you have wanted me to say sorry to you?"

After listening to my question, the smile that had remained on Leena's face for a long time vanished. When I looked at the other students standing there, they also had this question on their faces because everyone knew Leena very well.

I did not want to say anything further and got up and started going towards the classroom. I didn't turn around to see if people were talking about me or what Leena was saying about me. Is she still staring at me?

When I asked, the boy said that he was innocent.

" You are misunderstanding me, why would I bother you? I was troubling you Kala , that's why she always troubled me."

I didn't understand why it would bother her yesterday so when I asked about it he told me.

" My name is Rajesh and I am from Mumbai. Kala and I studied in the same school where she always teased me because she was a nerd and I was not at all. She always came first by beating me and I used to come only two-three places ahead of the last one. She always used to call me Duffar and then we both parted ways and today I met her here."

After listening to him I started thinking for a few moments and then I asked.

" But he is not here, then why are you sitting near me?"

" I came to ask you where your friend is. I want to know whether she still remembers me or not because yesterday I could not talk to her and even today I am trying but she is not coming in front of

me."

Kala has a friend she hasn't told me about it. It is a different matter that we both met only yesterday and we have not talked much between us yet. I too have not told him many things yet, so it is simple that he also has not told me. I feel that if I want to further develop my friendship with him, then one day we will have to sit down and talk about a lot of things about each other.

" I heard you messed with Lena directly?”
