Liam and Senua emerged into another part of the labyrinth, a place that seemed to belong to another world. The stone walls were covered with vines emitting a faint glow, and small creatures resembling lizards with luminous eyes slithered between the cracks. Shadows danced as if alive, stretching and shrinking with each step. “This is a damn nightmare circus,” muttered Liam, gripping the hilt of his sword tightly as he scanned his surroundings. “How observant,” Senua said, her sarcasm barely hidden. She walked a few steps behind him, her movements fluid and graceful despite the strange environment. Unlike Liam, her expression showed no fear, only a mix of boredom and irritation. “Why are you so calm?” Liam asked, turning to face her. “Is it because this place is as twisted as you are?”
