Edmund immediately controlled himself in front of Guzman so as not to look panicked. Because he had felt that before when he was hiding Raquel. He was afraid that his best friend would find out that there was a woman that Edmund had brought to his house.
"Hi, Dude. Why is your face so pale? Are you sick?" Guzman asked as he took a sip of beer from a bottle he was holding.
Edmund shook his head. He sat next to Guzman and took a bottle of beer that Guzman had brought. Then Edmund drank the alcohol.
"No. I'm not sick. Just a lack of sleep," said Edmund.
Edmund and Guzman heard Raquel's scream suddenly.
"Aww!" His voice is very clear.
Guzman immediately looked seriously at Edmund. "Whose voice is that, Edmund?"
Edmund was surprised. He thought Raquel was safe in the closet. But something seems to have happened to him.
Guzman walked over to the source of the sound. Edmund could not stop his friend. Because, later Guzman will suspect him.
"Maybe it's the sound of a cat outside." Edmund tried to distract Guzman. However, Guzman did not believe Edmund.
"No way, Edmund. I can clearly hear a woman's scream." Guzman was sure of what he heard.
Then, Guzman continued his footsteps to approach Edmund's closet. He believed that the source of the woman's screams came from there. Then, Guzman opened it. How surprised he was when he found Raquel sitting in the closet.
"Huh! Who are you?" asked Guzman spontaneously.
"I'm his wife," said Raquel, pointing at Edmund. He smiled at Guzman.
Raquel came straight out of the closet. He looked at Edmund and said, "I'm sorry. I screamed because there was a rat in the cupboard."
Raquel's answer made Guzman even more confused.
"What? Edmund's wife?" asked Guzman to confirm. Then, Raquel nodded her head.
With his confused face, Guzman immediately asked Edmund. "Can you explain who she is? Is she really your wife? And why did you hide her in the closet?"
Edmund sighed. He approached Guzman and immediately explained everything that happened to Guzman by whispering it near Guzman's ear. Edmund also tells why Raquel admits that she is Edmund's wife.
After hearing Edmund's explanation, he said with a cheerful smile. “Wow! You hit an angel. Look, she's so beautiful. Her face is oriental like a girl in a Korean drama. Her eyes are very beautiful. Her skin was as white as milk. You're in luck, bro!"
"You have a very beautiful prey, Edmund." Guzman's mind immediately fell on Raquel's beauty. Because, he is also the same as Edmund who is also a playboy and naughty.
"Why did you even hide it from me? Huh? I won't tell anyone if she's this beautiful."
Guzman didn't stop talking about Raquel's beauty.
Hearing his friend's words, Edmund immediately pulled him out of the room.
“Why did you pull me out? Are you afraid that I will take that girl from you?” Guzman protested. After that he drank another bottle of beer he was holding.
Edmund was really annoyed at Guzman's response. “That's not what I thought! Haven't you thought about what if she came home and sued the police for me!"
"We're not talking about her beauty right now, Guzman. I'm in danger. If her memory comes back, then I will be reported to the police. That's why I confessed to being her husband,"
"Didn't you say she didn't know what the police were?" Guzman's brow furrowed.
“Yeah what if she already remembers everything? She lost his memory. She doesn't remember her name and place of residence." Edmund answered Guzman's question in a tone that sounded frustrated.
"Then, how? What are you going to do next?” Guzman asked again. He understood very well that Edmund was very afraid of going back to prison.
“How do you think I won't be sued by her? I can't think anymore,” said Edmund as he paced back and forth because he was completely overcome with fear mixed with confusion.
Guzman looked thoughtful. In a flash of time, he immediately smiled. "You claim to be her husband right? Just run the drama. It doesn't matter."
"Yeah, I already said that. Do you think that wouldn't be a problem?" Edmund questioned Guzman's hasty idea.
"You don't have to worry. The way you claim to be her husband is correct." Guzman said that casually.
Guzman brought his mouth close to Edmund's ear. Then he whispered something. “She should stay at your house and let him lose his memory. Don't take her to the Doctor to help her memory heal. If you do that, then she will remember everything and after that she will sue you by reporting you to the police!”
Edmund shuddered at Guzman's last words.
"Do you think it would be safe for her to continue living at my house?" Edmund was starting to have a dilemma.
"Yes, obviously. Husband and wife do have to live in the same house. So that you can monitor her so she doesn't return to her original memory. The way you claim to be her husband is spot on, Dude,” Guzman explained.
"B-but, tonight we're having a party at my house. What about her?” asked Edmund again. Actually, that's what Edmund had been confused about.
Then, Guzman answered Edmund's question by whispering something again right in Edmund's ear.
Hearing his best friend's idea, Edmund frowned. He was a little hesitant to carry out the idea.
"Are you really, Guzman?" replied Edmund in response to the idea Guzman had just been told.
The man named Guzman shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know any other way than that."
Edmund seemed to think again. "Is the way we hide her in the room safe?" He makes sure Guzman's idea is safe or not if it's done.
“Of course it's safe if she can be worked with us. If not, surely all our friends who came to party tonight would be bothering her. So, what if someone knows her? Then you can be reported to the police.” Guzman assured Edmund that his idea was safe.
