Chapter 14-She is Moon Goddes

Edmund immediately asked Raquel. "Rola, so you're secretly following us?"

Raquel smiled shyly. Shr nods. "I'm sorry, My husband. I want to join in the search for the wolf princess. I can't just stay at home. While you guys work hard to find her."

Edmund exhaled in a huff. He ruffled his hair too carelessly. Edmund was just afraid that later someone would recognize Raquel and it would affect him. If anyone recognizes Raquel, then his lie as Raquel's husband will be exposed and the person who recognizes Raquel will report it to Raquel's family. Then, Edmund's life at that time would be in jeopardy. He really didn't want to go to jail anymore.

"But I told you not to follow us and not to leave the house. Why don't you understand? Why do you even contradict your husband's orders?" Guzman said to Raquel. He looked disappointed and angry at Raquel. Meanwhile, Raquel could only silently look down. She regretted having disobeyed the orders given by Edmund, the man she trusted as her husband.

"Come on, Edmund. It's all over. If she wants to come with us, that's fine." Guzman said to Edmund. He knew that Edmund was angry and scared right now. He understood Edmund's fear of people recognizing Raquel. But as a friend, Guzman must be able to calm Edmund.

Then, Guzman whispered something into Edmund's ear. "We must let her come with us. But she must continue to come with us and must not be left alone. People will recognize her later if she is alone without our supervision." Guzman offers advice.

Edmund agreed with Guzman's suggestion. Then he deliberately softened his tone when he spoke to Raquel.

"Okay, Rola. You can come with us to look for the wolf princess. But there is one condition, namely you can't be far from us and you can't be alone. Do you understand?" Edmund asks Raquel's ability not to let herself be alone and away from Edmund and Guzman.

Of course Raquel agreed to these conditions. He nodded quickly. "Sure, My husband. I agree to both conditions. I will not be far from you and will not leave myself alone."

"Good. Then you can come with us we," said Edmund.

Then, they started walking to walk down this empty building.

While walking to enter this building, Edmund suddenly thought of something. He immediately stopped in his tracks and turned to Raquel. It took Guzman by surprise.

"Why did you stop suddenly, Edmund?" Guzman asked. His forehead wrinkled. He looked seriously at Edmund. He was curious about the answer Edmund would say.

Edmund did not immediately answer Guzman's question. He stepped his foot closer to Raquel. So that made Raquel confused. He also didn't know why Edmund suddenly approached him and looked at his forehead.

"Yesterday, your forehead was still injured from the accident. Then, why is there no scar on your forehead today?" Edmund asked Raquel with an astonished look on his face.

Edmund pointed at Raquel's forehead which looked so smooth. No scars there. Yet as Edmund recalled when he bumped into Raquel, his head was bleeding from the wound on his forehead. Because of the wound yesterday, Raquel's head was bandaged to cover the wound. But today Edmund didn't see the scar at all. It's only been two days, but the wound quickly healed. Edmund was confused.

Hearing what Edmund said, Guzman also saw Raquel's forehead which now had no scars. He just realized this.

"Yes. I just realized it. Yesterday, it was still bandaged and there is still a scar on your forehead. Why is it not there now? You took off the bandage, Rola?" asked Guzman to confirm.

Raquel looked confused. She touched his forehead. "When I took a shower, I removed this bandage. But I didn't notice that there was a scar here. I also don't know why the scar is gone."

Edmund and Guzman looked at each other. They are getting confused.

The three of them were both silent for a minute.

"That's right. Maybe the wound really does go away quickly. Forget it. Let's go back to looking for the wolf princess." Edmund put an end to his suspicions. He chose to continue looking for the wolf princess. Although right now he was still thinking about Raquel's scar.

They continued on their way to enter the empty building. Inside the building there is a lot of dust and weeds. This building is very dirty.

"Are you sure the wolf princess is hiding here? Isn't this a very dirty building? Is it logical that a princess is hiding here?" asked Raquel while waving her hand as a lot of dust got into her nose.

"Maybe. Because she wants to hide. She could be looking for a hiding place like this so people can't find her," said Guzman in response to Raquel's question.

Raquel nodded her head as a sign that she understood Guzman's answer. Even though there was something in his heart that was bothering him. According to her, there is no way a royal princess would want to hide in a place like this. Raquel guessed that the princess wasn't hiding. But she could be kidnapped.

After 5 hours exploring the city and visiting empty places, Guzman, Edmund, and Raquel found nothing. They got back into Edmund's car to rest. The search for the wolf princess was tiring for them.

Raquel spoke. "I don't think wolf princess is running away and hiding."

"Then, what do you think?" Guzman asked without looking at Raquel who was sitting in the backseat. While Guzman and Edmund sat in the front seat.

"Yeah, she could have been kidnapped by people when she ran away from the kingdom. Maybe she's currently being held hostage by the person who kidnapped her."

Edmund and Guzman looked at each other. They had the same thought that maybe what Raquel said was true.

"What Rola said could be true, Edmund," said Guzman first.

"Who's the bad guy who kidnapped him? We don't know," said Edmund.

Guzman suddenly drew closer to Edmund. He whispered something into Edmund's ear.

"You can ask Selene for help to find out where this wolf princess is. She will help you," said Guzman giving Edmund a new idea.
