Two years later –
Miloni returned to work in the same agency after two years. She did not take up field assignment but worked in the office of the agency. Her job was to train new recruits and prepare them for field assignments.
Arko opened a new office in Pune and they bought a bungalow near Miloni’s work place. The new member in their family took up all their time. Arko and Miloni’s daughter was born nine months ago and they named her Amira. The bubbly baby kept everyone on their toes. Arko was such a devoted father that Miloni was surprised that he took care of the baby so well. Arko’s parents and Miloni’s family often travelled from Kymore to see Amira. They adored their granddaughter, and once when they had taken Amira to Kymore, she wept loudly, not willing to leave them.
