The doorbell rang once more and Arko, without answering Miloni, hurried to open the door. Miloni frowned at Arko’s silence. Why was he not answering her question? Miloni began to wonder about Arko’s involvement in the incident that had traumatised her.
Arko opened the door but he found no one. There was only an envelope lying on the door front. He picked it up as he scowled at the name written on the envelope. It was addressed to Miloni. Taking it to her, he grimaced at the question she had asked a few minutes ago. Why didn’t he want to answer her question? He had promised himself that he would confess his feelings to Miloni once she was found but he feared her rejection now. What if she didn’t love him back? Would she leave him? He pondered as he handed her the envelope.
