Chapter 26: An Effortless Connection
For the remaining time on the island, Jason and Dillon are not bothered, visited, or spied on by the nudists next door. They don’t think about the queer and beefy colony, but they do hear the crew of frisky men after dark, once the beautiful sun of the Gulf sets. Loud radios play and playful screams are heard through the jungle. The masculine screams are distant but still sound like a slasher movie is being produced and filmed. Something B-rated and called Pine Island Murders or Nudist Camp m******e. The screaming is heard randomly and at different octaves, long into the night. Although Dillon complains more about the loudness than Jason, they do nothing about it, staying on their rented property and coveting their time alone, together.
