We arrive at Shasta and Rockys house a day early. Kaley has picked out at least ten presents each of Dex and Marie. She said she remembers when she was little and her parents made sure there were hundreds of presents for her and Kara to open.
She absolutely loves Christmas. I on the other hand dont care one way or the other. It's just another day. The only thing I've ever enjoyed was being together as a family. Mom use to go overboard as well. I guess that's something mom and Kaleys mom have in common. But I guess that's another reason they were such good friends.
And if it wasn't for my mom and her being such good friends I more than likely never would have meet my mate. I look over and see Kaley piling up presents to carry into the house and smile. "You just gonna stand there gauking
