I felt like I really had graduated from Mr. Bridge’s class in a way. I knew when it started that it was just a temporary thing. Now I could sit among my friends and not freak out that I wasn’t an open book. It was my life and I had to be comfortable in my own skin. Having some boundaries that I could control made me feel normal again. Maybe they knew about me, maybe they didn’t. But if we ever talked about it, it would be when I was ready.
