Chapter 13

Weeks after that incident that happened to my family, dad was still unconscious in the ICU. I've been going back and forth each day in the university and the company to fix everything while mom isn’t yet to be discharged due to her heart problem and other internal issues whereas they monitor often. Also on one of the days that she was awakened she just cried all out and wanted to be with dad, it seems they already regret all what happened in the past months or years.

“Ms. Zamier? Are you still with us, it seems only your physical appearance is the only one who is with us?” Ms. Azure worriedly said while she is currently discussing something in the class, I didn’t hear that much what she is currently saying due to my mind keeps running on different errands. The secretary of dad called earlier and told me how the company is going right now. They are currently finding dad’s attention though I often checked everything, they often say that I am still not in the position to handle everything.

“It seems that you need some rest Ms.Zamier, I personally understand don’t worry. I’ll just send to your emails all the details you need in my subject and to the subject of Mr. Lavigne. I know you are having a hard time with everything so don’t think that much already.” Ms. Azure added and I left with no choice but to accept what they are suggesting because I also know that this is for me not for them.

Hour had passed and it is our dismissal already where the school bell already ring endless awhile ago for the different end of classes of all the different departments of the university, before I go to my favorite place with Alexandrius I accidentally saw different things that make me stop by for quite several minutes due to how it really amazed me I wrote immediately once I finally got seat nevertheless I chatted Alexandrius already that I might be late in the time we’ve talked to.

“Little did they know that I am also suffering within the happenings no matter I looked so braved and strong I am still a human in this chaotic world that have definite emotions and feelings, but they only see is what they see upon but not how hard I try everything for them.” I sudden wrote in my journal as if I am currently talking to someone I really know and really understand everything that I felt because I know no matter how tried to tell all of this to anyone they won’t really understand at all where I came from.

Minutes had passed but Alexandrius suddenly came in where I really am though I really didn’t say the exact thing he needed to be here still he seemed to use his source to know where I really am, no matter how I pushed him back he really got his ways just to be with me no matter what.

“Myre, please have a rest even for an hour, you mostly not eat even in the cafeteria or in Ariztocrats you often just looked and played with the utensils but not eating it that much. You’ll eat but just a bite. Come on you also need strength, you do know that you have your daily maintenance already and you couldn't skip it that much. You also need to take care of yourself. You still do have people around who love you as much as you love dad. I know it is hard and I am not in the position but please think of us.” Alexandrius worriedly said to assure me once again oftentimes I’m thinking if he will not get tired of taking care of me within all of my thoughts and all of the happenings in my family.

“Don’t worry that much, I still can, my body is still cooperating unlike them where we don’t really know what is happening already.” I said to calm him but still I know it couldn’t be really easy on him as he knows how my mind goes through each time that there’s something dark happening around.

“Please,don’t be naughty too much. I know you still can but how if something happens to you. I can’t accept it if that happens.” He said and kissed me and I returned it immediately in a passionate way.

“I love you so much Alex, nevertheless could we elope the topic around. Is there any news in the University?”

“Don’t think about it, Ms. Azure knows what happened. You know here in our place news is news that goes around that fast despite how private it should be.”

“If you say so, but if there is in need to pass immediately to Ms. Azure please tell me. I want that I am the one to make it not you will be the one to make it, I know you that much as long as you also can the given task you will pursue to ease everything I am doing each time.”

“Fine, I know that you’ll not accept defeat in a case like this.”

“Better you know Mr. Beckham.”

But as we talked with each other with different kinds of topics, minutes later we both got shocked as dad’s finger finally moved after weeks of instability. Finally I could say that he is still alive and really fighting everything that is going on.Such a great fighter is he. Alexandrius hurriedly went out to the nurse table outside the ICU and told about dad’s condition whereas some of the nurses called out for the doctor’s who were checking on him.

They checked up every vitals of him as fast it could be to know what happened a few minutes more Dr. Cleopatra go into my place and said “Great News, Myrtle after weeks of waiting finally his conscious went back we can put him already in the deluxe room where your mom also is staying, you may now visit them together and not separately also they both only need monitoring already their conscious is getting better by days. I hope you’re also fine after everything that happens, don’t forget to eat on time and the maintenance we give you is for your health.” After hearing all that news I seemed like I couldn’t sink it all, I couldn’t move myself that much. I felt that I was stuck in it though while feeling frozen I already exclaimed thanksgiving to our Father above finally after a long way I could finally sleep for a while.

When I finally back into my senses I called Chris about what happened he hurriedly go back to Mizare Hospital and told me that he will be the one to take care for a while to our parents and I should have my time for myself for a while also it seems like Alexandrius have told him that our finals is nearing already. I already don’t have any choice at all so I let him be as Jayne already taking rest in our rest house since the accident happen we tend to have rest in the rest house so that the incident wouldn’t really be fresh also that it is more accommodating due to it is surrounded by trees and it is also quite near to the river and Mt.Apog that’s why way back times I and dad used to have hikings each weekend whenever I and him doesn’t have anything to do for that day and just endure moments often times Christian chooses to join us but more often it is just between the two of us.

“Call me immediately whenever something happens to mom and dad.” I commanded Chris for the last time and went out of the room already with Alexandrius.

“Could we have a drive-thru in Ariztocrats for a while.” I said the moment we entered his car his face was priceless. It seems like it is the first time that I am the one who asked for us to eat for a while and quite a yes after everything that happened, I do really not have any appetite, my mind was so preoccupied at all.

“Finally, you do not know how you make me glad more this time as you are the one who insisted for us to eat after a long time, Love you Myre…” He thankfully said and kissed me passionately before starting the car.

“I love you always, Alexandrius, I’m sorry for giving you such pressure and thinkings this past weeks I just couldn’t handle everything that is happening around, you know that I couldn’t insist or sink if anything will happen to dad. All this time, though they often and might be apart, still He is always on my side, despite that often mom don’t support what I want. Still, he is behind supporting everything I decide to do at all.Also, thank you for everything you did do, I nor we really appreciate it if not with me you are the one fetching Jayne to school and vice versa, hoping you’ll not get tired of us.” I said to him while looking outside through the window at my side.
