CHAPTER 18

After the different performances and activities in the first night of the UYC, each one of us rested in an instant though we didn’t manage what time we all got in our different respective rooms because of all the happening earlier.

“I know that this day has been rough for you but have enough rest, I’ll be right here at your side no matter what. You don’t need to think that you’re alone. Also I’ll leave you first to take a rest huh, I’ll just take a shower.” Alex said before while fixing his things while I was fixing our bed to rest.

After he said all of it, he didn’t give me a chance to talk, he immediately went to the shower room. Before I got a chance to turned back and face him but before I finally rest I choose read one of the stories written by Sovereign it was entitled Endless Hope, there it says that no matter how hard what we experience we ought to put love as our first priority and don’t let hatreds be above our hearts.

Minutes after he’s already finished taking a shower and it is already my turn to have a finite shower before getting the rest we need to call it a day at all. We will be here in our UYC for almost 3 days and 2 Nights once we arrive at our different houses. I and Alexandrius will have a one day rest before going on the trip with my family. It’s been a long time since my family has been out of town, it has been hectic though before the incidents happened at all. Tripping with my family is one of my favorite things to do the most despite that often I feel that I am just invisible to them but traveling places is my comfort. That's why often I don’t bother to think about what is happening around as long as I am doing what I love the most.

I choose to wear my black and sando as my sleeping clothes, while Alexandrius on my side wears his jersey as his sleeping clothes. Didn’t realize all along that I already fell asleep but suddenly I feel that he put our little blanket to cover me.

Hours later it was morning already. I woke up to fix myself for a long day though I know that Penelope won’t be near me but still my fear about her couldn’t be ease that fast all of that she has done all throughout those years. I choose to have my rubber shoes partnered with my pants and oversized shirt. Once I am done I a done I looked for Alexandrius and see him in the nipa hut together with Clark his classmate from the other department

“Hi, Clark.” I greeted him as they looked while I’m getting near them.

“Oh, Hi Myre” he greeted back as I approached Alexandrius, he immediately pulled me in his arms.

“Did I disturb your conversation?” I innocently asked them.

“No, you don't, we are also about to finish what we are talking to and I am also about to go back to our room to fetch you for breakfast.” Alexandrius said

“I think I better go, thanks for the lil chat Xandrius, until next and also don’t forget about the things I’ve told you” Clark said as he forbid goodbye while I and Alexandrius continue our plan to eat at the nearest restaurant for breakfast before the other activities this day of the UYC begin.

Alexandrius and I walked along the way to the restaurant he saw while we were on the way. The moment he told me about this restaurant I immediately researched it. I saw that there is a nice ambiance but only few people saw it, because it is quite hidden. The moment we finally arrived in the restaurant, I instantly sat outside where there was a great view and fresh air. Alexandius followed me, minutes later the waiter arrived at our table.

“Good day, ma’am and sir what’s your order.” the waiter rapidly asked with a smile while giving the menu and holding a notebook and pen.

Alexandrius looked upon the menu and ordered two of their specialty, a latte and a cappuccino. Often I do like cappuccino with a cream but it’s quite too early so he insisted that my cappuccino doesn’t have any cream at the top.

While we are waiting for our food he took shots of me in different angles, he have every single of love language that anyone would find to a man, that’s why I am not new about what others say about our relationship due to how he amazes people around him in simple ways, while I am just a lady who often have nothing but thinkings though they mostly say that I am talented and inspiration but I couldn’t feel it most of the time due to what’s happening around me.

Minutes later our food arrived, We both captured each other before starting eating the food but the thing that shocked me was the change of music. It became one of my favorite bands. Within the reviews that I saw they were right, the food was nice and matched with the ambiance of the place. You’ll not regret going and returning within the place all along despite that it is quite hidden around the place, it will be worth it. Truly often every hidden thing was more worth it and better to feel all along.

“ Do you have any idea about this?” I asked him but he just declined about it as if I might believe him.

“If you say so, I can’t do anything about it,” I said, and continued eating.
