8 The Nagi Sleep was for the weary and the Nagi had slept enough. She lay with her head on a rolled-up fur blanket, staring at the stars above. The dragon shone the brightest in the sky, a beacon in the night. This was where the Nagi was supposed to be, the people she was supposed to observe. But observation wasn’t enough. The conversation she overheard hours ago rolled through her mind. The soldier who always looked at her in apprehension knew of Hua’s dragon blood. Interesting.
