I heard Luca’s footsteps coming closer and stood to turn and face him, just as the moon light hit my face, I clearly saw the look in Luca’s eyes before he was at a run and his arms wrapped around me, “Sin, my girl.” He jerked me away looking me dead in the eyes and I could see tears streaming down his face before he pulled me back in tighter.
“Hi, Luca.” I breathed out; I don’t think he realized how hard he was actually hugging me.
He loosened up on me a bit but kept a death grip on my forearms, like he was afraid I was going to run, “We have been so worried about you. Where on earth have you been?” But before I could speak, he smiled, “You are the confidential informant!”
“That would be me I guess.” I laughed.
