Xander’s POV
I have spent the last two and a half months trying to find Jess, Jake told me that someone slipped a note to him at mom and dad’s facility when he visited with Shaun. Evidently, Jess is gunning for Val, Jake said he questioned everyone to find out where the note came from but, they can all resist his authority, and evidently dad wasn’t planning on using his alpha authority, so I had decided to travel back to the facility in two weeks. I had been feeling angrier and more at unrest as I was being haunted by the fiery eyes every night, they have gotten worse since the night she told me she was only a dream. That voice was something that haunts me every night, not in a bad way, only in a way that longs for me to find the owner.
