“Wakey, Wakey Sin.” I heard Jake’s voice ring through my head as I opened my eyes to see the sun shining brightly through the curtains. Hearing his voice brought a smile to my face that morning and then it all came crashing back, the events of the night before, “Jake how is he?” After much silence Jake responded, “He will be fine, I think. He doesn’t remember last night, and he isn’t going around here like he is fighting fire to get back to you. He keeps talking circles about how something is missing though he just can’t quite put his finger on it.” ‘Okay Jake, thank you. Please take care of him.
