When Vivian got home, she took a long shower before rummaging through her fridge for stuff to make dinner. As she cooked in the kitchen, she hummed happily to herself. She felt so good and was glad that that little wrinkle with the matron had been straightened out at last. Vivian knew she could trust Fabian to get Momma D in line tonight; he’d just have to give her a treat and everyone is happy. Vivian prepared a plate of fried rice and grilled chicken from a bunch of leftover food she had in the kitchen. As she ate her dinner in front of the TV, her phone rang.
