Alison’s POV Kane draped a coat over me and opened the car door. I pulled it closer with both hands. I didn’t expect Kane to be here. ‘Uncle Kane.’ I repeated to myself. It had been a long time since I felt protected. Kane had always made sure of that until I left. Between him and my brother, I don’t know who would be angrier if they knew everything that Reid had done to me. I leaned back on the seat as I listened to the thugs pleading for their lives.
