“I must be hearing things.” Reid mumbled to himself. How could Alison possibly know Alpha Kane? That’s impossible. It was virtually impossible for these two to have any connection. Even though Alison was an extremely beautiful woman, she lacked the family background that could have connected her with Alpha Kane. Even Reid himself did not have that privilege.
“What is it, Reid?” Britta looked puzzled. Reid was acting strangely.
“I need to see the Chairman. Britta, didn’t you say your family has all type of connections?” Reid whispered to Britta. He couldn’t leave without seeing that woman. He was desperate, to prove himself wrong, because that woman could not be his wife. He pleaded to the guards one more time, said he had something urgent to discuss with Alpha Kan
