Chapter 5

New places/Kingdoms

- Darmeria - Small kingdom on the coast - large trading port

- Elanthia - Large kingdom on Elan island - most fish and wood through out the country comes from them

- Savon - Tiny merchant and silk trading post on the outskirts of Darmeria

Sol's Pov

    Sol backed all the way into her tent and was fumbling around in the dark, attempting to locate the twin daggers. She suddenly felt the tip of a sharp object and snatched it up, quickly finding its twin as well. Sol slowly creeped out of her tent and lit a small lantern, attempting to see whatever was terrorizing her and her horse at this time of night. She suddenly saw a flash of light and the world went silent. When nothing else came for them, Sol quickly packed the tent and hopped on Salvatorre, getting out of there as quick as possible. 

Killian's Pov

    The royal group had stopped for the horses the rest before they were to stay in Darmeria (Another neighboring kingdom) for a week. They would then head west towards Elanthia, using the kingdoms swiftest ships, as to not get stuck in a storm. Though for now the group was on foot and horseback to reach Darmeria. Killian figured that Darmeria would be quite easy to take over, as it was a small kingdom with little armies or defense. 

Lila's Pov 

    Lila sighed as they stopped again, for what felt like the thousandth time that day. She hated stopping because it meant she had to hear the men laughing and talking and being stupid and annoying. She also had to smell all of the horse crap and just sit there silently with her stuffy, old, ladies in waiting. She peered out the carriage window, and was suddenly startled when Killian popped up beside her. "Oh, my lord, what may I do for you, your highness" she murmured sweetly. " Cut the crap Lila, you know I hate when you call me, your highness." he growled. "Oh Killian you know i'm just playing" "yeah, uh huh."

   Killian then said "Well how are the plans going" "For the court?" Lila responded slowly. "Yes, what else?" "they are going well, I have brought gifts for all of the ladies, and brought small daggers for you to give to the lords." "Very good Lila." Lila smiled at him and shewed him away so she could finish changing into a much more expensive dress for when they reached the kingdom. They obviously had to show the small kingdom the lavish life in their court. And she had to show off her finest gowns, jewels, and pretty things, after all she would be their queen soon.

Sol's Pov

    Sol had stopped in Savon, she needed a new cloak, and boots, as hers had developed holes, and would be no good for running through a forest or riding on horseback. She saw a small shop and hurried into there. Once inside she was enveloped by the an array of smells, leather, horse grain, and fresh bread, were only a few of the scents that rushed at her. A big, burly man stood at the back of the shop, and she rushed forward, hoping to be out of there before anyone saw her and reported her there. "Hello sir, I would like to purchase a new pair of boots, a cloak, and maybe some bread" she muttered, attempting to keep her face down, as to not be recognized.
